Our Partners

If you belong to any of the following groups, you can be an active participant and help us to deliver a successful and influential priority setting exercise:

  1. People with acne or who’ve had acne in the past
  2. Parents, friends or partners of someone with acne
  3. Anyone who treats acne within the NHS
  4. Anyone who treats acne outside the NHS
  5. Anyone who offers advice or support to people with acne
  6. Organisations which offer advice or support to people with acne
  7. Organisations which represent professionals who treat acne
  8. Special interest groups that relate to acne or its treatment
  9. Members of the public with an interest in acne

There are two levels of involvement, as active partners or as key stakeholders.  Each role is explained in more detail below.   You do not need to become a partner or stakeholder to take part in the surveys.

Active partners participate in all stages of the process of priority setting.  They share the aims of the Acne PSP and are willing to champion its work. Partners are asked to affiliate to the James Lind Alliance (JLA).  They will receive regular updates from the Acne PSP and the quarterly JLA newsletter.  We strongly encourage organisations with an interest in acne to become active partners.

Key stakeholders are individuals who are enthusiastic about the aims of the Acne PSP and who feel they have something to offer that will help the partnership be successful.  This might be something simple like re-tweeting our publicity messages or more hands on like reviewing documents or taking part in a workshop or focus group.
